Check for files named ypager


then delete the files. Often there are three ypager files. One ypager files is created


when you install the Yahoo Messenger and the others are created when you use the


Yahoo Messenger.


Next, download and install RegSeeker


Use RegSeeker to clean the Registry.


Now try to download and install Yahoo Messenger. {NOTE: after using Yahoo Messenger


the other newly created ypager file and/or files are created and contains info that


will display your Yahoo Messenger Chat Name and the Chat Names of those you chat


with. After each chat you may want to delete the newly created Ypager File or files.


Be sure to leave intact the Ypager File that was created containing the date that


you installed the New Yahoo Messenger.





The visual c++ runtime library error may be due to a conflict with .exe files. After


you have removed all of the Yahoo Messenger Files and after doing a reinstall of


the Yahoo Messenger, if you still receive the C++ runtime library error message you


may need to do a selective startup of your computer to help isolate the problem.
