If you have Windows XP, use system restore to roll back to a time before you got the message.
Reply:This means that some files in that folder are corrupted. Sometimes when u open files of type ".c" or other programming language extensions it uses the default programming environment on your computer for opening it. And Microsoft Visual C++ is the default u have.

So just try uninstalling Microsoft Visual C++
Reply:I would need a little more information, but it appears an application you may have running in the background (imagaine something-or-other) is having issues.

Just after you startup, but before you get the message, press ctrl-alt-delete and bring up Task Monitor. Look at the 'Processes' tab. Look for something that starts off with "imagine"... Do you recognize it? It is either a valid system file for an application you have (which you would have to reload), or it is malware that wasn't designed to run on your laptop. Do you have spam/malware protection turned on?
Reply:For those of you running the Windows system, you might also want to consider the XP Medic program which offers several more advanced features than the Registry Patrol application, including the ability to completely optimize your entire XP/Vista operating system.

go to :Http://top5registrycleanerreviews.com/re... is free to install and operate and will likely solve many of the slow processing problems your computer may be experiencing.
